Dove Soap: Hun that is your first mistake! Never never never use a body soap as a face cleanser & always always always use moisturizer! Even if your face is oily use moisturizer. The reason oil is produced & any form of acne [cysts, white/black heads etc] is the skins lack of moisture it over compensates by producing too much oil which ends up clogging the pores because there is too much oil too fast. best recommendations that are cheap & can be bought anywhere: Clean & Clear face wash [choose which is best for you type: oily, normal etc] & then the moisturizer is great too & all for under 10 bucks. Do make sure to use it twice a day for at least two weeks before you will notice any difference. It takes that long for the skin to get used to the new product & you may even see the skin get worse before it gets better but that is just the skin adjusting. It will get better though! Trust me! If you have more money to spend I can tell you the best products to use but it's about a 60-100 dollar investment, but your skin is worth it no? lol please let me know how it goes!

I thought you were using Dove soap as in the bar body soap. I studied skin care but I can't say I'm a dermatologist. anything for the body though is not good for the face. I apologize for making that assumption. I've never tried cedaphil & I have heard it is good to use. I use prescriptive skin care products only & I have never had a skin care problem [lucky for me] but I've never really had one since puberty. I know people w/ acne problems that have used c&c and they have all reported positive results[including my Suisse but now I have him using the men's line of biotherm] hence why I have suggested it. my bad. *wink*
